9 Wedding Planning Tasks to Tick off your List during Lockdown

We may be in Lockdown 3.0 but that doesn’t mean wedding planning has to stop.
Here are our top tips for things you can do from the safety of your home so you keep on top of those important wedding planning jobs.
Suss out your guest list
This will take a while so it’s perfect for a lockdown task. Sit with your partner and get everyone’s names down and then ask your parents if there’s anyone you’ve missed.
Layout the table plan
With your guest list finalised, draw out some tables on a big piece of paper and with a pencil, hash out your table plan. You can always rub out names if you move people round.

Write the wording for your invites
You don’t have to go traditional on your invites; try out different wording and see what best represents you as a couple but also gets the main details across for your invited guests.
Make up any wedding favours (if you have the stuff already at home)
Plus it’s a great chance to get creative during lockdown
Write a shot list for your photographer
Many photographers ask for a list of who you want photos of so they can make sure they get all the important ones of key family and friends

Make a theme mood board
If you’re at the beginning of your planning, get some pictures off the internet, print them off and arrange them on a page with annotations of how they might work for your wedding. It’ll slowly help build a theme that you’ll like.
Collate your supplier contact details
It’s always good to stay organised, so get all your suppliers written down in one place and their contact information together
Set out your budget
Make a list of everything you have to pay for and write down what it’s going to cost; this’ll then give you a great idea of how much you’ll need for the big day.
Make a list of songs you like
This is fun because you and your partner can go through all your favourites to keep an ultimate wedding playlist!
