Aren’t Autumn weddings just lovely? Filled with oranges, browns and reds, with candles helping create a wonderful cosy atmosphere as the leaves fall from the trees.

We’ve put together some ideas that might help you if you’re planning your own Autumn wedding; HINT, there will be pumpkins…

Pumpkin Decoration
Whether it’s aisle runners, table décor, or even tiny pumpkins within the bridal bouquet, this versatile Autumn staple can be used in all wedding décor. It comes in a variety of shapes, colours and sizes too!

Autumnal Bouquets
This is the perfect opportunity to throw all your favourite Autumn foliage together; Dahlias, Chinese Lanterns, Chrysanthemums, Amaranthus and Burgundy Roses offer up a beautiful textural combination that will wow your wedding guests.

Table runners
Napkins and table runners in seasonal colours and textures can quickly transform your table décor into an Autumn wonderland. Fabrics like tweed, hessian and even velvet are perfect Autumn textures. Similarly, burnt oranges, berry tones, deep browns and even gold tones offer a good autumn colour palette.

Autumnal centrepieces
Mix in all the autumn colours and textures with berry tones, light oranges, deep browns and crimson reds for your floral centrepiece. The addition of autumn leaves and pinecones adds contrast to an otherwise soft floral display and adds a different dimension.

Not just to keep the doctor away, apples are an Autumn staple and perfect for seasonal décor. Place an apple at each guest’s table place on top of the menu. Or have toffee apples for your wedding favours! We’re sure your guests won’t mind!

Autumn Leaves
Freely available during the Autumn season, so why not make use of them. Scatter leaves along your table décor, use them as decoration for when guests sit down. Even have leaves scattered along the aisle so as you walk down it, you get the crunch sound from the crisp Autumn leaves.

Autumn Harvest Feature
Creates a perfect focal point for the backdrop for wedding photos, or for the end of the ceremony aisle. It can feature pinecones, pumpkins, autumn flowers and grasses, along with cinnamon sticks and figs.

Candle Features
You can buy LED candles now which are safe to have lit at indoor weddings. But even a real unlit candle added to your table décor can give a cosy Autumn feel.

Particularly if your wedding is closer to Bonfire night, fireworks will work a treat! You could also give sparklers to guests as a wedding favour idea.

Tree Branch Décor
Make use of naked trees adorn the aisle at your wedding ceremony. Add in twinkling fairylights for a cosy Autumn feel.
