Textured Fabric

Think tweed, velvet, linen and seersucker fabrics. Velvet and Tweed are perfect for autumn/ winter weddings, while linen and seersucker are lightweight for the warmer summer months. We’re seeing grooms mix up textures in their wedding day looks to create a bold contrast between the waistcoat , suit jacket or even tie and pocket square.

Earthy Tones

One trend we’re seeing continue this year (and expected to stay the course) are earthy toned suits. Footballer Harry Maguire wore a stone-coloured Marc Darcy wedding suit on his big day, adding a celebrity nod to this trend. Other earthy tones feature browns, olive tones and beige, and the best part is that these colour palettes work well for either a formal or more relaxed wedding.

Shoes

Depending on your style, there are a range of shoe options to complement your suit. From Converse or trainers for the laid-back groom, to patent leather brogues or formal loafers for those opting for a more formal head to toe look. The monk strap shoe design is another formal shoe type offering a more modern take that works well with all suit types.
