Bridal Style – Get the Trend
We all knew the Royal Wedding of Harry and Meghan was going to have some effect on what’s trending in Bridal. So let’s see the styles to beat this wedding season!
Capes
A new addition to the wedding wardrobe, capes are blowing up on the wedding circuit, to add a more sophisticated bridal look. Brides are going for a softer touch with a floral or feathered cape as an alternative to wearing a veil. These can then be taken off for the evening’s entertainment, for a more informal look to dance the night away.
Simple but stunning
Taking a leaf out of Meghan Markle’s book, we’re seeing simple gowns winning at this years bridal fashion week, with clean lines and understated gowns. Don’t underestimate these though, simplicity leaves room to maximise your accessories to create a look that take the groom’s breath away.
3D Floral
This is tipped to be a big hit this year. Wedding gowns are being transformed with the addition of 3D flowers to create a more textured, stand out look.
Large Bows
Bows are seemingly everywhere this wedding season, and bridalwear is exploring this trend with oversized statement bows for a fresh look to a classic wedding gown.
Return of Ruffles
Ruffled are back with a vengeance this season, and are appearing in every way possible when it comes to the bridal look. From a mermaid ruffle along the bottom, to tired ruffles down one side, elongating the bride, ruffles manage to create a fun, yet regal look. Summer brides can even opt for a dress cut at the knee for a ballerina ruffle effect that’s fun and informal.
